Strengths: HD via Dish Network is great. Sound is superior.
Weaknesses: DVD sound is less that half of Dish signal, some DVDs I turn up the volume all the way and still have trouble hearing. I has contacted Vizio by email and left a phone message about the sound issue, never heard back.
Overall Evaluation: Good TV, support is a joke.

Strengths: Great picture with the HD signal. Many inputs and outputs, more than I'll ever use! Bang for the buck is outstanding with just as good a picture and features as many TVs costing more.
Weaknesses: The picture with analog signal is quite grainy. Surprised by that. Sound through its internal speakers leaves a lot to be desired. My old 27" Zenith had better sound. The remote control font is quite small along with small buttons. Quite difficult to use, espcecially in dim light.
Overall Evaluation: I would definately recommend this digital TV. I am quite happy with it.

Strengths: I got this HDTV because of the PCWORLD INFO. and I'm very please with it. I hook it up to my RCN BASIC cable and it worked real good from the start. I didn't have to change any setting at all. The Color and picture was clear on all basic chanels and HD changles.
Weaknesses: I didn't see any weaknesses in the HDTV or Remote I think any one that want's a new HDTV at a good price you will not go wrong with this one.
Overall Evaluation: The picture is very good and the color to the remote is easy to use to. It has a lot of setting's that you can change if you want to but I didn't find I had to change any thing at all. It has all the hook up you will want to hook up a new dvd player, your computer, and a cable box if you want the paid changle's and it has hook up for other speakers if you want them. I got this HDTV on sale at circuity city for 799.00 - 15.00 off and I got it with three years to pay for it with zero interest if you pay it off in that time. I think it is a good deal and you can not go wrong with this HDTV.

Strengths: price, picture quality
Weaknesses: audio, reliability
Overall Evaluation: had this tv for about 5 months now, and loved it until recently. It started losing the picture but keeping the audio. at first unplugging the HDMI cables from the back in then plugging them back in did the trick. not anymore. now i have a tv with a black screen and voices. vizio's tech support is a joke, seeing as how theyre not open on sundays, as well as circuit city's tech dept. bottom line, ive been told this is not just bad luck, apparantly this all the time with vizio's. spend a couple hundred extra and get a better brand.

Strengths: Good picture quality on HD channels, easy to figure out
Weaknesses: Grainy picture on non HD channels and some movies
Overall Evaluation: My first Vizio, and I'm pretty pleased. On non-HD channels the picture is really grainy, and its just a little grainy on movies. HD is great and the size is just right. I haven't had any real issues with it, and there are no confusing or difficult settings/set ups(which is great for the non tech savvy)

Strengths: Very easy user interface. Did not need to review instruction manual at all. Excellent tuner performance...both analog and HDTV signals. Bright, clear picture, no dead pixels.
Weaknesses: Remote control could use some tewaking, but no big deal.
Overall Evaluation: I picked up this TV at Sears on 12/8/07 and had it installed and programmed within 20 minutes after getting it home. The picture is great with QAM HDTV signals through Time Warner. Analog signals look fairly good as well, at least as good as the old 32" Toshiba tube TV that it replaced. Very bright screen and response seemed pretty good. I watched an NBA basketball game and the response kept up with the basketball passing pretty well, not perfect - some ghosting. For the money (won't tell how much I paid), this was the greatest value TV I could find and could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend this LCD HDTV to any consumer. The 720P and 1080i looks great!!

Strengths: The picture quality is just as good as other televisions that are higher priced. Good deal!
Weaknesses: Television has a lower pixel count that other televisions, but still the quality of picture is great.
Overall Evaluation: Originally bought the television due to the lower price of an HD television. I also read other reviews of this product online and others had nothing but good to say. I also feel that for the money this is a great product. It is easy to set up and I can use it with my computer as an additional 37" screen. Wii games are too much fun when hooked up to this screen. I am the dorm room hangout with my 37" Vizio TV. Too cool.....

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Attractive cabinet, numerous audio/video connections, lightweight, good display with cable hook-up, nice on screen menu, easy to use set up guide
Weaknesses: No front control buttons (on right hand side), remote not the most intuitive, display lacking with no cable hook up, speakers ok but not great, no way to hook up external speakers without audio system
Overall Evaluation: Got this LCD tv at Costco for their price and return policy, and additional warranty. Have been pleased with the set so far, it will allow many user adjustments for color, contrast, etc. I compared many brands in Costco side by side and this one had as good a picture as the more expensive sets and IMO the cabinet looked much better then most others. I would buy this set again and recommend it to others. I have another Vizio (for 3 years) and it still works flawlessly. Hope this one is as good. This is a perfect set for the bedroom.

Strengths: Beautiful picture, great TV for a great price, includes picture-in-picture feature, stylish design
Weaknesses: Audio quality is not the greatest
Overall Evaluation: This TV has a great picture and looks absolutely beautiful in high-definition. The price is quite reasonable for a picture this great. The TV includes picture-in-picture, which is a nice feature. The audio quality is not the greatest, but I will be using it with external speakers anyway. Overall, I'd say it's a great TV for a great price.
