    Overall Rating: 1 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:2 Years

Strengths: None so far, unless you're the type to count interchangeable palm rests as a strength.

    Weaknesses: Functionality

Overall Evaluation: I received this mouse as part of a package with a new computer, and I had to replace it on the first day. Now that I needed a back-up mouse, I decided to pull it out of it's box for the first time in 2 years, just to see that it still suffers from the same problems. The cursor jumps wildly across the screen at odd times, sometimes without my hand even being on it. Additionally, it will change active windows, jump to the start menu, perform phantom clicks (where it registers a click without the necessary stimulus on my part), and generally cause a great nuisance when all I'm trying to do is navigate the web. I wonder if this is just because it is a cheap product, or if it is a lame attempt at mapping expressions to specific functions. Either way, Creative Labs really dropped the ball on this one. Do not be drawn in by cheap gimmicks like the sensitivity clicker. What's the point of having adjustable sensitivity on a mouse that doesn't really work in the first place?

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Responsive - up to 2400 dpi, and can switch on the fly with toggle in the middle. Quiet mousewhell and mouse buttons. Laser, not optical. Comes with 3 covers.

Weaknesses: Size - it's pretty big. It's wired... but not a weakness if you game.

Overall Evaluation: It's took some time to get use to it because it's pretty big, and you grip it different than smaller mouse. It's comfortable for gaming after a while. During gaming, the mouse is great compare to my old cheapo, overpriced mouse by a lot. Much more accurate, and faster response. Improve my kill rate by 2 fold.I don't switch the cover much because I'm lazy, but it's a nice bonus. This mouse definitely is better than the Fatality 2020 because it won't die quick.

    Duration of ownership:5 Months

Strengths: Contoured body fits your hand like a glove, three interchangeable cool looking face-plates, easy to change dpi settings, smooth maneuverability on your mouse pad.

    Weaknesses: None found.

Overall Evaluation: I am not a super big gamer, but I bought this mouse while it was on sale and I wanted to see how it compared to my other wired mice. I do game a bit, but I could hardly be considered a "gamer". This mouse met all my needs right out of the box. There are three different colored face-plates that are interchangeable. One is greenish, one is purplish, and the last one is a dark red. As you can see in the picture, the purple colored one (and the green colored one) are sparkly and shimmer, and the colors kinda of change depending on the angle you are looking at it. That is pretty cool looking. The red cover is kinda of a "flat" red, but it is has a metallic sheen to it, so is cool looking, too. It has a resolution of 2,400 dpi and a tracking speed of 40 inches per second. You can easily can adjust the dpi setting through the control switch. You can quickly change between 400, 800, 1600 and 2400 dpi, depending on your needs. The mouse maneuvers really well on my mouse pad. It has EasyGlide Teflon Feet that allow it to slide effortlessly. This mouse has a unique ergo-type styling that contours and fits your hand like a glove. I have a small hand, and it fits me quite nicely. It seems to fit other reviewers who have big hands, too... so, this mouse seems to fit most everyone. The mouse body is light and responsive. I would recommend this mouse to anyone. I bought this mouse with a great rebate, so if you can find this mouse on sale or with a good rebate, I think you will be very pleased with your purchase.

    Duration of ownership:3 Months

Strengths: Perfect ergonomics (for me), easy to adjust precision, tactile and attractive, plug in and go.

    Weaknesses: None so far

Overall Evaluation: This was a replacement for my Creative Fata1ity 2020 mouse that died less than a year after purchasing it. In comparison, this mouse far exceeds the 2020. The ergonomics of this mouse are outstanding, a wider footprint that fits my hand very well, sturdy and responsive buttons and wheel and all in a better layout than the 2020. I'm right handed and have moderate to large hands and I've never had a mouse fit as well and be continually comfortable to use.I use this mainly for CAD design and gaming and it excels at both. The adjustment for precision is on top and is intuitive to use and never gets accidentally switched, even in the heat of battle.Stylistically the HD7600L is one of the best looking mice I've seen. Changeable shells let you 'customize' the look (there are 3 total). The USB cable has a clear sheathing and is long enough for most situations. I was hesitant to buy another Creative mouse after my disappointment with the Fata1ity 2020 but the HD7600L has really impressed me thusfar. I would definitely buy it again and intend to get another for my office soon.

    Duration of ownership:20 Days

    Strengths: Cheap, attractive

    Weaknesses: not strongly built

Overall Evaluation: This is an okay mouse for the price. I liked the bright color/LED. Accuracy pretty good. May need a little bit of getting used to it. But almost any gaming mouse needs that. Since the mouse is not strongly built, i feel that I may crack it while playing high intensity games ! Overall a good mouse for the price (that too after the rebate, can't beat it).

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Laser mouse, High DPI, DPI switch, Price

Weaknesses: Takes some getting used to, sticky scroll wheel, LEDs a bit too bright

Overall Evaluation: I've been using this mouse for the past month or so, and it is certainly an improvement on my last mouse, however, the build quality doesn't seem that great, but what can you expect for its price after rebate? Somewhat inconsistent tracking at times, but a solid performer. The scroll wheel is really my only complaint (mine seems to have some sticking problems).

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Months

    Strengths: 1) Laser mouse w/ High DPI 2) Changing faceplates/colors 3) Price

Weaknesses: 1) Odd but OK feel to the mouse 2) Wheel light is blue and (too) bright

Overall Evaluation: I like this mouse for the price I paid. It is a good alternative to Logitech mice. High DPI settings and different color options make it great for gaming. The responsiveness is great. I don't like the middle wheel light, but that is a cosmetic issue. Using the mouse is neither enjoyable nor terrible (somewhere in the middle), as other mice hurt my hand after some use and this one did not. However, it wasn't as comfortable as my Logitech mice are. Overall, I would recommend this product if you could get it on sale/after rebate.

    Duration of ownership:1

    Strengths: Great DPI, Great response

Weaknesses: Wrong description - wired; Not Wireless.Wrong rebate Description - pricegrabber had 09/30/2007 listed for the rebate and the actual rebate ended 09/03/2007.

Overall Evaluation: I was Dissapointed by both of the facts listed under weaknesses and ended up returning the item. I must give credit to zip zoom fly - they were great about the whole situation and took it right back. I will order fom them again.Saddest of all is that the manufacturer sells it for 19.99.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Light and good resolution

    Weaknesses: awkward on the hands

Overall Evaluation: Doesn't seem very solid but good performance. The mouse is very and and so easily maneuverable. I would stay away from this if it is more than $10 and go with one of the logictech's gaming mouses.

    Strengths: User adjustable resolution

Weaknesses: None I can think of!

Overall Evaluation: First thing that stands out is the amazing look of the mouse, and 2 additional skins provided, makes it look even cooler. For faster responses, user can adjust the DPI to the max. on the fly, and enjoy 'cat like' responses. I sure do enjoy it.
