Strengths: There are no strengths to this product. Kodak has a good idea but poor reliabiltiy.
Weaknesses: Reliability! Not good when you have to return two products!
Overall Evaluation: DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! We purchased this product believing to spend a little more but save on ink! Well, the first one failed outright and the second one had a failed print head. Kodak replaced printhead but the product failed again! The print head is something the consumer has to install and after removing and looking at the print head contacts we could see they were FRIED! So after 2 products and 3 printheads we decided to return the item (150 miles round trip!) and get our money back!

Strengths: It is multitasker. The ink is cheap.
Weaknesses: It is big and boxy
Overall Evaluation: I just bought this yesterday. I love it so much already. I can print pictures, copy, scan, and fax all on this machine. Also, I don't need to use a computer to download pictures from my digital camera. It has 2 slots for Sd cards and xd cards. It's not super fast at printing stuff out, but the quality is very good. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a printer but the ink cartidges are considerably cheaper than others on the market.

Strengths: Copier
Weaknesses: Printer sounds horrible, poor print quality, not mac friendly
Overall Evaluation: This printer has great prices on ink cartridges and I was so excited to purchase and be done with the hassell of over inflated ink prices. Well the printer in one word = awful. The sounds it produces while printing (when you can get it to print) is horrendous. It sounds like the plastic is about to snap at any moment. The quality of the prints are very poor as well. You maybe wondering about the picture printing. Me too! I was unable to get the 4x6 prints to work. It may be a function of using the memory card only but I got tired of trying to get it to print. The software package for the Mac is non-existent. In fact, you need to download it and not use the disc that was provided in the box. Don't waste you money on this product. There are many better printers at the same or less cost.

Strengths: Low priced ink.
Weaknesses: The printer is fairly slow in sending the paper from the tray to begin printing.
Overall Evaluation: This printer has nice features, especially the tray for 4X6 inch prints. The print quality is average to good, and the price of ink cartridges is unbeatable... just can't find in stores, and must order online.

Strengths: Affordable ink. Black ink $9.99. Color ink $14.99. Bonus package includes 180 4x6 photo sheets with color cartridge for only $17.99.
Weaknesses: Noisy. Paper error.
Overall Evaluation: I have had this printer since September. It prints 4" x 6" photos from camera memory cards very well, but after the card is downloaded, the pictures are automatically erased from the memory card. (Maybe I'm not doing something right.) When printing documents from a computer, the printer doesn't always recognize the paper. Sometimes you have to "trick" the printer into recognizing the paper. The printer is also very noisy and seems to want to "deep" clean the printhead every time the printer is turned on. My printhead messed up after about 90 days. After talking with customer service, Kodak "overnighted" a new printhead and both ink cartridges. I was very pleased with Kodak's customer care. All in all, the low cost ink cartridges are the best feature of this printer.

Duration of ownership:5 Days
Strengths: Very User Friendly; Easy Installation and Set-Up
Weaknesses: Average Picture Resolution
Overall Evaluation: I really have no complaints about this All-In-One (although it printed the wrong picture from my disc, but I will call that a fluke). Overall, I think it's worth the price. It is a larger model of All-In-Ones, but it has a lot of functionality so it's understandable. Caveat, I have not used the fax yet, so my comments hold true to all other functionality at this point.

Strengths: Great price for ink.
Weaknesses: Ink tank runs out the multi-function will not work.
Overall Evaluation: I would recommend that buyers first read many reviews before spending any money on such devices. CNet has several credible reviews. I got caught once with an AJ5030 Sharp multifunction and to this day I will not purchase anything without reading reviews. I will not purchase a Sharp product ever again. Kodak with its reputation of having great technology for ink and picture making, it should have spent more time creating a printer, scanner, fax and copier that would rival any of the competition. Price and quality of ink, consistency of keeping the same style ink tanks for all of its printers and the ease of use of such a device is the way to keep loyal customers. The product looks good, but I think I will pass this one until Kodak gets serious with its technology for making printers.
