    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:8 Months

Strengths: very good, clear sound and excellent bass.

Weaknesses: I've read comments that the satellite wires are too short, but Radio Shack sells extensions with dual RCA plugs.

Overall Evaluation: There is no date on this review so this might be a bit old; at any rate I got these at the same time as a new FX530XV Gateway which has Sounblaster audio card as well as an IDT audio control which includes an equalizer so they can be set up to accommodate any source. I have never had to get anywhere close to full volume. The sound is completely clean with no distortion at all other than on the occasional TV broadcast,-hte Gateway has a TV tuner and Hi Def 24" monitor too - but then the regular TVs have the same static. I am completely satisfied and feel that I got a good deal. For sure worthy of a 5 star rating.

    Duration of ownership:1 Years

Strengths: Great sound, too much power for what i need, very good quality

Weaknesses: Front speaker wires kind of short

Overall Evaluation: Is a very good product, totally recommended, great sound, no issues at all, good stands for the speakers... and the subwoofer is heavy... but it performs great! The only thing is the wires for the front speakers (not the center one) They are short

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Great price, excellent sound, good for gaming

    Weaknesses: Remote control looks cheap.

Overall Evaluation: Brought the system on zipzoomfly, got it quick and am very satisfied with the performance, games and music sound real. Love the removable speaker grills. Wish the remote looked a bit more high class.

    Duration of ownership:4 Days

Strengths: Strong bass, crisp highs and mid range

    Weaknesses: NONE

Overall Evaluation: These speakers were purchased to replace a set of great sounding speakers that had a power source go bad which couldn't be replaced. I originally wanted the Logitech 6.1 X6200's but they were unavailable. I purchased these and the sound is amazing. The highs are crisp, the midrange outstanding, and the bass solid. The wires are a bit short but extensions can be purchased. The sound is room filling. For the price they can't be beat. An example of how good these sound; you're outside a concert listning to the music and when you go in you hear the music. These are the MUSIC!!!

Strengths: good overall sound, super deep bass, easy to install, great remote (wish it was wireless though). Looks slick too, small speakers with big sound. I have not had to turn it up all the way.

Weaknesses: wires are a little on the short side, but could be cured with some simple RCA extenstions (purchase them as you buy). My small NY apartment just made it! Wouldn't deter my from purchasing though.

Overall Evaluation: Overall very good purchase for the money, the Matrix feture is useful as well. Remote looks good and has a headphone jack which is useful.

    Duration of ownership:2 Weeks

Strengths: Lound, Clean Sound, Very Nice Bass, Convenient Wired Remote

    Weaknesses: None Yet

Overall Evaluation: These speakers are EXACTLY what I was looking for. Nice rich bass that shakes my entire room (My cats are like "WTF"). Very clean sound, Absolutely NO HISS Or Cracking (I use a creative X-FI XtremeGamer sound card which costs about $80). So far these are the best PC speakers I've owned. Awesome for music and gaming.

    Duration of ownership:14 Months

Strengths: THX Certification, Thumpin Bass, Crisp Sound, Swiveling Bases, Removable Covers.

Weaknesses: Fixed Cables, and lots of them.

Overall Evaluation: First and foremost, these speakers rock! You can get kicked out of just about any apartment complex jammin these on a regular basis. The bass is incredibly strong. There's no doubt you'll not only hear them but also feel them. My wife is constantly complaining about the bass, which couldnt make me happier. I wish the cables werent connectorized though. The positioning is very limited due to this problem. I like my speakers up high and in all corners. Cant happen with this set-up. O'well, they still rule. I would most certainly recommend these speakers, especially if you're lucky enough to score them as cheaply as I did. $80 after the rebate. Big time score in my opinion.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Crisp sound, plenty of power to fill a smallroom. The right price.

Weaknesses: Cord length (common complaint), hard to get sound "flat".

Overall Evaluation: I think the opinion of these largely rests in the expectations and listening habits of the purchaser. If you are used to high end audio, you will likely be disapointed. It took a lot of work with my sound card's EQ to get it mostly flat, the sub has a tendency to be boomy and while the highs are good, dialogue isn't often translated that well through the center, on 5.1 (DTS or DD) movies.Having said that, if you are relatively young and are looking for something for your bedroom or dormroom, you will be very happy. The bass is certainly there and they do get loud. I didn't see the point on spending any more money than these, as even the top end PC speaker systems still will be blown away (in accuracy and soundstage) by a good conventional setup.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Really nice sound, incredible bass, very good quality for the price.

Weaknesses: Rear cables really too short and sometimes there is just too much of bass...

Overall Evaluation: I was firt looking for a 2.1 speaker system (Logitech Z-2300) but there was an error with my pc shop and they didnt have it in store. So the guy offers me a rebate for this system and after testing it a bit, I really don't regret my purchase. I highly recommend it.
