    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Easy setup, good remote, nice looking black color. Good priced 1080p up-conversion DVD player.

    Weaknesses: There is a blue light that stays on the entire time that can be distracting while watching a movie for some. No back-light for buttons on remote but few remotes have that without paying big $$$.

    Overall Evaluation: So I just bought this DVD player and watched 300 and all I can say is wow. I have the Sony 1080p Bravia KDL-40V2500 and the two of them definitely made the movie very nice. I was originally using an XBOX as my DVD player and upgraded to this DVD player has made a difference (and I was skeptical). I bought the player for $89.99 from Circuit City and would recommend this player until the Blu-Ray-HD/DVD wars are over and the prices drop a little on the players and movies. Overall, good buy.
