Overall Rating: 5 Star Review
Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Better support for RAW, new filters, new functions, auto updates, new more intuitive user interface, auto-align and auto-blend for panoramic
Weaknesses: none
Overall Evaluation: This is the best tool for digital photographers. The RAW support is now extremely good: if you have a set of similar images, you can adjust the settings on one and apply the same settings automatically to the entire selected batch. The new enhanced user interface is really intuitive and works great on wide screen displays. The auto-blend/auto-align works really well when you stitch several images together to make a panoramic.I use CS3 everyday for my work and I could not live without it!

Duration of ownership:2 Days
Strengths: Filters, history, layers, tools, and almost everything else about it.
Weaknesses: requires a lot of memory
Overall Evaluation: I have used Photoshop for several years and have learned something almost everytime I use it! It is the best photo editing software I have ever used. There are a lot of new features for general users, web designers, and even video editors.

Overall Rating: 4 Star Review
Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Terrific features.
Weaknesses: Tried three different drives on three different computers before finding one that could read the installation disk. (All drives read other disks just fine.)
Overall Evaluation: In fairness, I haven\\\'t had time to explore all of the features. What I *have* seen is impressive, however. User community is broad and enthusiastic and offers an excellent opportunity to learn how to use the features.

Overall Rating: 4 Star Review
Duration of ownership:
Strengths: New RAW conversion, all-in-one solution
Weaknesses: Doesn't install on Windows 2003 without tricking it
Overall Evaluation: I am a first time user of Photoshop, switching from Paintshop Pro after more than 12 years of use. I like the integrated approach, allowing me to do more with a single tool than before (i.e. raw conversion). Haven't tried the photo stitching yet. The complexity is a bit intimidating, though, it will take some time to truly exploit the full potential. I also very much like Adobe Bridge, the browser and organizer application which is included.

Strengths: Can do anythingLayering FeatureBrings life to spoiled shots
Weaknesses: Cost Cost Cost
Overall Evaluation: As the earlier reviewer mentioned, this is not for everyone. It has lot of features and to get to each one and master them, there is a stiff learning curve. But once you master the technique, you can do anything with any picture. My goal is to master the layering. That will lead to create HDR in the pictures. I am playing with a trial version now. Once I feel comfortable, I will empty my pocket.
