Strengths: Affordable at-home printer!!
Weaknesses: None so far!!
Overall Evaluation: I would highly recommend this printer for someone who needs a all-in-one printer at a affordable price. Color is excellent for a inkjet printer. So far I have no problem with it. This printer is very reliable.

Strengths: Fast printing compared to other inkjets.
Weaknesses: As many other users have reported, there is a significant issue with the paper feeding mechanism. It either won't feed, or pulls-in the paper at an angle, and then jams.
Overall Evaluation: If you can get this printer for under $65 dollars, it may be worth dealing with the paper feeding issue. But otherwise, I would not recommend it. Certain stores are really starting to mark down the price of this printer as I suspect that they are getting a lot of them 'returned' due to the paper feeding issue I described.

Strengths: Budget Printer. Easy Installation and operation.
Weaknesses: Not a great Photo printer
Overall Evaluation: I bought this for home use. Quite a decent printer considering the price. Not a great photo printer, if you are mainly looking for great quality photos. The scanner is quite good. Overall its a nice budget All In One Printer for moderate home use.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: High resolution scanning, excellent print quality (text and documents)
Weaknesses: Scanner bed is embedded (not flush with top of printer), ink catridges don't look like they carry much ink
Overall Evaluation: I got this multi-function inkjet printer a while back but let it sit around in its box for a while. Finally got around to opening it. Too bad I waited so long because this thing is pretty useful. First, the features: inkjet printer, flatbed scanner, copier. It has an LCD status screen, card reader and pictbridge for direct digicam connection (for digital cameras that support pictbridge). So far, I've printed some documents and the text is so fine that it looks like it came off my laser printer. The scanner and scanning software are easy to use and supports scanning resolutions of about twice the resolutions of most other multifunction devices. However, I did have a problem scanning a document I had filled out using B&W document scanning mode: the handwritten blue ink and thin form lines of the document I was scanning did not go through well. Switching to picture mode made for better results there. The flatbed itslef is embedded a little bit from the surface of the printer around it. This is no big deal for regular sized documents, but it is not possible to get oversized items flush with the glass. As a result, it is either difficult or impossible to scan larger things or sometimes they come out very blurry and out of focus. The black ink cartridge is average sized. However, the color cartridge is very small, and this one very small cartridge holds all the colors. Seems this printer is more for printing documents than photos, as this color cartridge doesn't look like it can print a whole lot before needing replacement. It doesn't come with fax capabilities. Instead, I scan the documents to computer and then use my computer's fax modem to send faxes. Like most printers these days, it does not come with a USB cable for connecting it to your PC. Despite all these shortcomings, I still like this MFP.

Strengths: Fast printing, memory card readers, and print directly from camera.
Weaknesses: No usb cable, uses ink quickly, no fax feature.
Overall Evaluation: I got this printer after a great deal and I am very pleased. Copies and photoprints look excellent, but it appears to use a lot of ink so am concerned this might be an expensive investment in the long term. Very easy to setup. Looks very nice. Overall, great multi- function printer in this price range. Second Canon product I've had and nothing but good experience.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Low Price, features, built-in memory card reader and LCD, Quality
Weaknesses: Ink price, Ink wastage in power on-off
Overall Evaluation: This AIO machine prints high-quality text and graphics prints. Print cost is reasonable compared to other AIO machines. It has lots of special copy and photo print features. There are some issues like - it can't initiate transfer of photos from card to PC via control panel and can't use USB port to connect flash drives. It has slow test printing but graphics printing is fast. Overall it is a good product.

Strengths: Low price with good features, LCD Display, Good Quality prints, card reader
Weaknesses: No USB cable included
Overall Evaluation: I primarily use it as a scanner. The resolution is very high. The print quality is very good. Though the the printer is not good on ink life. But the good quality print explains the problem. The LCD screen is of very good quality. The card reader is also an added advantage. I can access the card reader directly from computer so I need not purchase additional card reader.
