    Duration of ownership:10 Days

Strengths: 1080P native resolution + HD camcorder = endless funHDTV looks better too.

Weaknesses: A bit weak on SD content. Not receiving all HDTV channels throuh cable

Overall Evaluation: Bought two, one 46in and one 52in.This is definitely one of the best 1080p TV on the market. I have been using Panasonic plasma's for many many years, since I always saw better picture on plasma than on LCD. The sharp changed my view totally. Both color satuation and contrast are comparable with the best plasma. However, it's much lighter, and there is no "burn-in" issues. I use it with my HV20 HD cancorder, the picture quality is much better than 768p plasma. On the down side, it looks not as good when recieving SD TV content. Also, cannot receive all the HDTV channels through cable, compared to my current panasonic with cable card.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: thin, bright, 3 HDMI

    Weaknesses: none

Overall Evaluation: Got in on 9/14 and just hook up to my rabbit ear antenna. Pick up all local HDTV stations without any problem. Pictures are vivid and sharp right out of the box. Very light, was able to lift it up and move to another location all by myself. Don't see any banding that was prevalent in the old 62U model. I then hook it up to regular cable and able to pick up HDTV channel without cable box or cable card.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: 1. Sleek body, 25% thinner compared to 82U, lighter, consumes less power.Excellent picture quality,3 HDMI (1 on the side for easier access)

Weaknesses: No to good looking chasis. Unknown banding problem (I haven;t seen it)Price, if you have not purchased under sharp F&F :)

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this TV because it was for $1800 under sharp F&F promotion. Really a good price for 52" 1080P tevelision. The picture quality is excellent, with sharp colors and good contrast. I couldn't see any difference compared to 82U with is supposed to have 120HZ frame conversion which supposed to have less motion blur on fast moving pictures. So far, its a great piece of equipment considering its 25% thinner hence ideal for wall mounting. My wife although didn't like the chassis design (silver curve frame).
