    Duration of ownership:2 Days

Strengths: Lightweight, Ultra-thin, 1080p, hdmi 1.3, VGA port, individual color calibration, firmware update via usb.

Weaknesses: Unable to set color temperature manually.

Overall Evaluation: I'm using the Aquos primarily with my HTPC. The HTPC is connected to the TV via VGA port because the PC doesn't have a DVI output. Connecting to VGA port already looks stunning. For banding issue, I didn't really spend time to look for one but I haven't noticed any. There is per connection picture settings which is really helpful.

Strengths: 3 HDMI inputs, very thin, PC input

Weaknesses: SD Looks washed out, but with directv you will have over 150 HD channels early next year, no need for SD anymore.

Overall Evaluation: Overall this is an excellent TV, No banding issues on this new 2007 model. This TV is very thing and doesn't weigh near the older 46 model. I am very happy with the purchase, the TV is worth every penny.

Strengths: Great color reproduction, VGA input, Super thin, Side inputs

    Weaknesses: non 120hz model

Overall Evaluation: This LCD really shines. The blacks and darker colars are sharp and retain an lot of detail that is lost on a lot of LCD's.I have looked at and bought a cheaper LCD in the past, but once you compare them next to a set like this you realize how much better the picture can be.I have the 52" version too and like it every bit as much.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: extremely thin and light tv3 HDMI portsgreat HD performance

Weaknesses: SD tv looks washed out

Overall Evaluation: I purchased the LC-46D64U after comparing it to the Sony and Samsung. For the price, this LCD is a great value purchase. Blacks are not as deep as the Samsung and colors are not as vivid as the Sony but those cost at least $1,000 more. The slim design is great.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Slimmer bezel, lighter, hdmi 1.3, addtional hdmi port.

Weaknesses: Although I hear the speakers on this set have been upgraded, sound is still weak!

Overall Evaluation: This is an updated version of the D62U. It's much lighter, thinner, 3 hdmi 1.3 ports, a usb port which I assume is for firmware updates.I haven't experienced any banding on this set.You will need a home theater system for good sound because the speakers are mediocre.I am currently using this in my bedroom, so I guess the stock speakers are good for now.Not currently using the stand because I wall mounted it.

    Duration of ownership:7 Days

    Strengths: Slim, light, beautiful

    Weaknesses: Banding still exist

Overall Evaluation: Sharing style with the old 62U series, this one actually looks much better in person. It is slimmer, thinner and lighter. 46" only weighs around 60lbs which is amazing. The silver line under the curve doesn't look cheap any more as in 62U series. 1080p sources are stunning. Sound is like most LCDs and a good home theater system is recommended. Unfortunately, mine still shows light to medium banding under light background. I guess I'll exchange it and wish me luck!

Strengths: AMAZING CLARITY!! Build Qulaity and connection availiblity (multiple HDMI and component inputs)

Weaknesses: No cover for stand opening when wall mounting. No Media card readers for picture slideshows.

Overall Evaluation: This was placed in my gameroom and I have fallen in love with the smoothness and the clarity of the picture. I replaced a CRT so any improvement was worth it but this TV exceeded my expectations. Overall I would rate this 4 stars out of 5. Compared to the other TVs I compoared in this price range, I feel that this television has the clearest picture for the money and I will recommend to my friends.
