Strengths: Compared to SONY KDL-46Z4100 & XBR4 is equivalent and priced reasonable with more features.
Weaknesses: None found, when connected to a home theater, speakers didn't matter.
Overall Evaluation: Easy Connect & NetCommand take control to offer ease of setup. TV GUIDE & CABLE CARD feature work excellent. With 4 HDMI & all the connections you need I had no problems with any thing. This has one of the best pictures of all LCD TVs I have looked at.

Strengths: Excellant
Weaknesses: Speakers
Overall Evaluation: Easy to setup, I have owned this set for 3 days now and except for the poor speakers sound, its the best TV I have seen. When compared to other flat screen LCD, I have found that Mitsubishi is top of the line even though you don't hear to much said about it. The colors are excellant. I highly recommended it even though it cost a little more.

Strengths: Incredible clarity and detail with natural color in the screen images. High refresh and Mitsu processing handle fast motion well. Thin frame is what others will copy. Light weight many features.
Weaknesses: Built-in sound is better than expected, but could be improved (same for most others in category). Recommed coupling with a surround system.
Overall Evaluation: Compared LT-46244 with Samsung 4669F, Sharp 46D64U, and Sony XBR4. Mitsu size fit best and in my opinion had the best picture. Others seem like they cranked up the color intensity to capture your attention. LT-46144/244 have more natural color tones. All sets were good (I admit I was splitting hairs for my final decision). I've used Mitsu's 5M-pixel still photo viewing feature to discriminate fine details in some high quality digital photos and I'm very impressed. Others may be good, but this one is best! The Samsung & Sharp were less expensive, and Sony was higher. Very satisfied with my selection. This set replaced a 50 inch projection. No contest.

Strengths: This tv was compared side by side with the new sony xbr5 and to my suprise the mitsubishi out performed the sony xbr5
Weaknesses: Could improve on the speakers
Overall Evaluation: The salesman and myself were very suprised that the mitsubishi lt-46244 out performed the sony xbr5 in clarity, color and detail, actually the sony picture actually looked cloudy or hazed when compaired to the mitsubishi, the objects in the far background of the picture on the mitsubishi were much clearer and defined, we did change the picture mode on both tv's and the mitsubishi really looks its best and natural on the natural setting. I was sold and purchased the mitsubishi after 3 to 4 hours of comparing both side by side. Both tv's look really great but the best picture is what sold me.
