Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Run MS Vista Home Premium well.Have a wonderful feel of the keyboardPre-installed Ulead DVD burning software which is add-on to me.
Weaknesses: The machine feels heavy/bulky to me anyway. The battery is not the best.not include an internal Bluetooth with this
Overall Evaluation: I've only used this for five days, and so far so good, it does a great job. Word processing , Watch DVD, play music are mostly used by me and this laptop can easily handle that. Also this lappy is much quieter than my old Toshiba one which has a very noisy cooling fan. Overall, In my opinion Toshiba is one of the best notebooks available via mainstream retail outlets for the price.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Reasonable price, large screen, large hard drive, light
Weaknesses: Battery life
Overall Evaluation: This is my 2nd Toshiba Laptop. It's a great laptop for the price. It's pretty light. So far the computer is working great, speed is good. I also like the media buttons for music and movies. The only problem I had is the battery life. The battery life seems a little short. Overall, I am satisfied with this laptop.

Strengths: This is the fastest and most up to date notebook i have own and very easy to used. Visa premium makes a big difference especially when I am watching dvds and downloading music. Speed/storage is great.
Weaknesses: I wish the screen was more clear and my battery can stay powered up longer. The volume in the speakers are not that great.
Overall Evaluation: I was going to give this notebook to my child for college but decided to keep if for myself and give her the one I'm using. this is probably the best notebook I have seen for the money....this is great

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Decent specs
Weaknesses: 1GB RAM
Overall Evaluation: Toshiba is no longer the laptop king as is evident from the average build quality and the crazy blue screen that plagues the A215 series. Also, why manufacturers only give 1GB RAM on Vista machines remains a mystery. That being said, spend another $40-50 more to upgrade RAM, tweak the power saving settings to avoid unwanted shutdowns and this machine will serve you well. Don\\\'t forget to remove the crapware as well.

Strengths: Simple but good at this price, Good Value
Weaknesses: This machine also feels heavy and bulky to me, but feel strong.
Overall Evaluation: the OS eat a lot memory, i think that will run slow if not upgrade the memory to 4 GB, because i will load a lot of pictures and work with the Photo Shop on my way back to the studio. So far in this few hours i feel good of this one! The cooling system is not really enough because i found it's warmer than expert!!

Weaknesses: None
Overall Evaluation: I was looking for a nice affordable laptop and found this one. This is loaded with vista and is everything that I needed. The DVD burner is awesome and 160GB WoW. I didn't even know that laptops come with such huge hard drives. I highly recommend this laptop for others.

Strengths: Excellent for the price; good screen resolution, lightweight and very easy to use. The Athlon TL-68 processor has more than enough horsepower to run several applications at the same time.
Weaknesses: Although there is a built-in WiFi card (802.11 b/g), there is no 802.11a radio in this model. There is also no PCMCIA slot so that a 802.11a radio can be added. The 1GB of installed RAM is 2 X 512.
Overall Evaluation: I purchased this Laptop from Office Depot. $699 minus $200 rebate minus $150 rebate = $349. The pre-loaded copy of Vista was stable and offers many advantages over XP. I would not hesitate to buy this same laptop again. I just wish that it would have included a PCMCIA slot and 2 GB of installed RAM.
