Strengths: Good complete security for your computer.

    Weaknesses: Nothing so far.

Overall Evaluation: I am very happy with this product. It installed well and I have had no problems. It scans pretty fast and has some nice features like deleting IM chat logs. It is simple to use and seems to do a good job in protecting my computer. I didn't notice it using too much system resources either.

Strengths: Excellent virus/firewall protection. Works on 3 computers. Vista compatible. Unobtrusive. Low resource use.

Weaknesses: Occasional hiccup in system. Re-installing key is difficult. Year subscription begins at first installation.

Overall Evaluation: I installed this program on 3 computers, a slower/older laptop, an XP system, and a Vista system. Performance on all 3 is almost identical. It takes a little while to boot up when first starting my computer, but after that I notice very little resource use. The only thing I've noticed is a little "hiccup" or pause when surfing certain websites. This happens very rarely. It might not even be caused by this program...I just never noticed it before. Even when doing a full system scan, it doesn't slow things down too bad on my faster system, allowing me to run other programs at the same time. The program doesn't nag you much either. Very rarely does the firewall ask about a program, even though I use several programs that access the internet frequently. It doesn't nag you to death if you don't run a system scan or if it's out of date. It just has a little exclamation point on it's system tray icon. This is opposed to Windows firewall which just blocks things without telling you, or Windows Defender which was always nagging me to update it. Norton would perpetually complain about something, especially if you didn't use their recommended settings. And Zone Alarm would block so much stuff that I would always be interrupted while playing an online game. The interface is easy to use and understand. You can easily turn off the virus protection and firewall rules or disconnect from your network temporarily with a quick right-click of the icon in the system tray. The only minuses are that the countdown on the 1 year subscription begins for all 3 installations as soon as you install the first one. I didn't know this and lost a month on my final installation. Also, I've read from other people that if you wipe your drive or want to re-install the program, you either have to use an unused installation key, or have to call customer service. But overall it's the best internet security program I've used to date.
