    Strengths: Nice color, good screens

    Overall Evaluation: The gold DS Lite bundled with Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a great value, a $15 savings over buying a regular DS Lite and Zelda separately. Embossed wtih a triforce logo, the gold Lite is quite visually pleasing and doesn't tend to show fingerprints much. Unlike some problems with the crimson/black Lite, there is no yellowing of the screens in this model. However, similar issues with the Lite like a looser d-pad persist.All in all, a fantastic purchase!

    Overall Evaluation: This is our first DS Lite purchase. The Gold DS Lite is made with quality materials. It is a compact game system, that you can bring with you everywhere. The stylus pen within is so easy to use and make it more easy to playing with the game-Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. My sons need to play it everyday now. It's a fun game sysytem for whole family!!

    Weaknesses: Hard to find now (at retail price)

    Overall Evaluation: This is a great bundle and a must have for all Zelda Fans. It's your basic DS lite except its gold colored and has the Tri-Force on the front of it. It also comes with Phantom Hourglass, the newest game in the Zelda series. This is a great game and is only topped (in my opinion) by Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Majora's Mask.

    Strengths: Great system, awesome game. Takes advantage of touch screen & LAN/WiFi capability. COOL COLOR, great collector's item!

    Weaknesses: Everything is great about the DS Lite!No longer available for retail price of ~$150: Very difficult to find, & if you do find it available the price is usually much higher than retail.

    Overall Evaluation: Once again, if you can find this bundle at a reasonable price, make sure you buy it! The gold DS Lite is a limited edition color (with the triforce symbol) & its value is only going to go up as the item becomes more scarce.The Nintendo DS Lite in general is a great system with amazing capabilities for a handheld gaming device.The Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game is much different than any zelda game I've ever played because most of the game is controlled using the touch screen. It's pretty cool, but is difficult to get used to if you're used to the traditional control style. Even so, I highly recommend this game to any Zelda fan!

    Strengths: The Screen is so much brighter than the original Nintendo DS.

    Weaknesses: I have not found any weaknesses.

    Overall Evaluation: This Nintendo DS Lite Bundle comes with a limited edition gold colored Nintendo DS Lite and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game. The gold DS Lite also has the triforce symbol on it. The screen is brighter than the original Nintendo DS. What you get is a cool limited edition Nintendo DS Lite and a great Zelda game for $150. I recommend the Nintendo DS Lite Gold Bundle with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game if you are looking to upgrade your original Nintendo DS to a DS Lite or you would like a cool gold colored DS Lite with the triforce symbol on it.

    Strengths: Fun, portable, cool color

    Weaknesses: Graphics are getting a little dated on this system

    Overall Evaluation: I really like the gold finish on this - very nice even on the bottom and the inside of the system.Stylus & touchpad make some games very intuitive.Comes with some neat chat software out of the box.Good deal since this is bundled with the Zelda game (usually meaning you're only pay $20 for the Zelda game - which normally goes for $35)

    Strengths: Kids think it's extremely cool, bundle is a good price if you manage to find it at retail instead of having to pay reseller markup

    Weaknesses: Seems awfully hard to find, the unit is a little small for my liking, but I have big hands

    Overall Evaluation: I've been searching for a DS Lite for my son for a while and picked up the DS Lite gold bundle when it showed up out of the blue at Walmart.com a couple of weeks ago. At the retail price, and bundled with Zelda (which my son would have bought anyway), this was a good deal. My son, as well as all of his friends, think it's extremely cool that he has a DS Lite in a color that nobody else he knows has, so that's a bonus. Personally, I find the thing a bit on the small side; I've played the original Nintendo DS a bit, and I actually think I prefer it just because it seems to fit in my hands better. I also think it's maddening that the DS Lite has become as hard to find as the Wii, at least in some areas (I'm told that in large metropolitan areas in the midwest the DS Lite bins runneth over, but in my area, nobody has them in stock). On the whole, I think it's a fine product. In my experience, Nintendo items have good build quality, and I don't think this is an exception -- it seems solid, the display is bright, buttons all work well, etc. The Zelda games is "amazing" according to my son, although I'm a little perplexed when I try to play it. Then again, the last Zelda I played was on the original Nintendo, so I'm probably not the target audience. I'm very happy with the purchase because it made my son so happy.

    Strengths: Love the gold color. The screen is bright, buttons are comfortable, and ergonomic. so many good titiles to choose from.

    Weaknesses: games are expensive and Zelda is a little scarely. not even basic storage case in included

    Overall Evaluation: Got the Nintendo DS Lite Gold with Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (NDS Bundle) right before Christmas. My son loves it very much. Love the gold color. The screen is bright, buttons are comfortable, and ergonomic. so many good titles to choose from. I also got the Mario Kart and Flash Focus Vision Training In Minutes A Day for him cause he got scared after few days of playing with the Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. He said it got too violent after certain levels. But he has so much fun with both Mario Kart and Flash Focus Vision Training In Minutes A Day. Best Christmas gift so far.
