  Overall Evaluation: My mother bought this unit for her car. When I attempted to use it I was stunned. I almost need to stop the car and get up close to the unit to read the lettering. Although it is a capable system, it was in no way designed so that it would be easy for a first time user to operate. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but I found this unit to be very frustrating. I now make it a point to not borrow my mom's car just so I don't have to use this stereo system. Although pioneer makes some good products, whoever designed the user interface on this product botched it big time. My advice, buy another unit with larger buttons, legible lettering, and easy to understand instructions.

  Strengths: Sound clarity, Tone controls, EQ, ability in playing multiple formats of CD's, detable face plate & complete control of iPod (Classic & Nano) from either the 7way rotary commander or provided remote.

  Weaknesses: The menu system could be a little easier. It is kind of cumbersome attempting to locate the option you need with the rotary commander. Wish there was a case for the removable faceplate.

  Overall Evaluation: After a lot of research, I purchased this product from Techronics for a great price of $98.15. The product was so good, someone broke in to my car & stole the unit! (removable faceplate was not removed by me!) So I am purchasing an identical unit as replacement from Techronics which is now on sale for $91.15. This time I will have the face plate removed from the unit any time the vehicle is not in use!

  Overall Evaluation: nice, good value for the money awesome sound quality. easy to install and they last. vey durable. nice display easy to read all sorts of options for mp3/wma nice little remotes that come with them.
