Overall Rating: 5 Star Review
Duration of ownership:1 Months
Strengths: Looks beautiful and integrates all computers in my home network very well. Windows Media Center is very powerful and offers an excellent HTPC experience.
Weaknesses: Some annoying confirmation prompts but not much else to complain about. 32-Bit version has a RAM limit of ~3.5GB unless you make some tweaks.
Overall Evaluation: I waited fot SP1 to come out to upgrade my home computers to Vista. I am happy with the move. Multimedia intergration and features far surpass those of XP. Allows for the use of DX10 which does make a difference in the visual quality of games.I used to always change the Control Panel to the "Classic view" on XP but Vista actually (and finally) made the default view more intuitive so I prefer it.The user and profile management is much better than that of its predecessors.
