Strengths: useful utilities combined under one software package
Weaknesses: price; similar utilities available under different software packages for less, from the same manufacturer.
Overall Evaluation: This is a useful software package combining my mostneeded applications: antivirus/antispyware/firewall and parental controls. It works well for the aforementioned areas. For less money comparable services canbe obtained in Norton's Internet Security. The main difference here with 360 seems to be the availability of 2 GB of secured online file storage/transfer.

Strengths: Gives internet and computer protection. Lots of bells and whistles. Backup option is handy. Being able to install on up to 3 computer is a plus.
Weaknesses: Having problems with some of the programs but Norton is working on them. Sometimes the computer will not shut down without manual intervention. It is hanging up ccApp.exe during restart or shutdown.
Overall Evaluation: I have been using Norton 360 version 1 and then went to Version 2. Have installed on my computer and also my wife's computer. I also installed Version 1 on my father's computer but it was a little to much for him ~ he will be 90 years old in June. When this runs out I may go to McAfee since I installed that on my father's computer.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: it offers comprehensive protection against spyware and virus malware, data loss, identity loss and phishing, thus covering most if not all current security risks.
Weaknesses: it's not dumbed-down enough to deter power users.
Overall Evaluation: Symantec has taken on board the issue of resource hogging which has dogged its security products in the past. Norton 360 2.0 now has a much lighter footprint than its predecessor; it now waits for 'quiet periods' before performing CPU intensive tasks such as scanning. That said, it came unstuck on our PC when some errant software grabbed 100% of CPU cycles, causing an AV scan to take all night long.

Strengths: AntiVirus; AntiSpyware; Auto Backup and Restore; PC tuneup
Weaknesses: None so far.
Overall Evaluation: I was watching this product for a long time and finally got it at a great price. The Norton 260 Version 2.0 is like Norton Internet Security plus basic version of Norton Save & Restore AND Norton Systemworks AND Norton Identity. i.e., this is a 4-in-1 soft. Also, it comes with one year subscription of 2GB online storage, you can save your important data online for security reason. The GUI is very user friendly and easy to use. If you ever used a Norton product, you'll get used to this one in no time. The backup feature is powerful, you can even choose Blue-Ray or HD-DVD as your backup destinations. Also, I love its Anti-Phishing feature which can be used in FireFox. All in all, this is a great product. I'm very happy with it. Highly recommend!
