Strengths: Powerful; dual-slot cooling; double lifetime warranty

Weaknesses: No bundled game; too long?

Overall Evaluation: As the price war heated up with ATI's 4850/4870 release, the 9800GTX cards started dropping in price. I wanted a powerful card, didn't want to spend more than $200, wanted dual-slot cooling and a good warranty. I got everthing I wanted with this card! Crazy that just a month ago this was over $300!! I'm not a massive gamer, but wanted to future proof my computer. I have played Call of Duty 4, with all the max settings, and it looks awesome on my Dell 24" monitor. For being such a massive card, it's surprisingly quiet. The dual-slot cooling allows for this, plus it keeps the card alot cooler than the ATI 48xx cards. Be forewarned that the card is really long, so it might pose issues for fitting in your comptuer case or being able to route cables inside. I wish it had a bundled game, but oh well. A big bonus is that XFX offers a double lifetime warranty, which means you can transfer the warranty to somebody else. Very cool when you want to upgrade.
