  Overall Evaluation: great product, my friends have it, highly recommand this iPod for Christmas or birthday, a lot of people have it or want to have, it is great, amazing, cool, awesome

  Overall Evaluation: Bought the Ipod at Thanksgiving time, played it for about three hours in four days and then it froze up. Called HP for help. They were extremely helpful and suggested taking the Ipod back to the store

  Weaknesses: lack of color screen, poor earbuds, high price

  Overall Evaluation: I received the iPod mini 4gb for Christmas and was immediately amazed at the compact size. Only when you take it out of the box and hold it in your hands do you realize just how tiny it is. But the real adventure started when I connected the mini to my computer and installed the software. That same day I was already downloading and buying songs from iTunes. The sound quality is great and the click wheel is very handy. I recommend this iPod to anybody who wants a simple but extraordinary MP3 player. The price may be a bit steep, but trust me it is well worth every penny.

  Overall Evaluation: I brought an ipod in july and it has been a great accsesorie to carry around. i have had no problems with it. when i clip it to me i dont even feel its there.apple have made the ultimate mp3. its main menu is reasonably easy to work. I wouldnt change it.

  Overall Evaluation: This MP3 player is the biggest bargain for the buck. It has everything you need for such a reasonable price. when i first got it, i had read the reveiws, and sure they sounded good, but i wasn't sure. But once i got this thing in my hands, and started to download music on it. I'VE LOVED IT SINCE. I just recently got back from a long weekend trip. I charged my mini the night before, and took off early next morning. The battery on this thing lasted the entire weekend, with consant use. I owned two MP3 player's before this. The "rio sport" and also some sony sport. OMG!1! this mini blows them out of the water, no comp. I promise you, you won't be dissapointed. it is one of the best investments i ever made, and i really hope this helps you. i know i was kinda sceptical of the reviews. but trust me its WEEEELLLLLLLLLL worth it.

  Weaknesses: Dents easily -- get a protective case, Limited storage space -- I got between 600 and 700 songs on mine, A fully charged mini doesn't play nearly as long as claimed, Non-user replacable batteries

  Overall Evaluation: I love my Ipod mini. I had a coupon which covered $120 of the expense at a particular store so I got it for $80 extra dollars out of my pocket plus tax. However, I think there are now color Ipods with significantly more capacity for around $100 more. It would be handy to be able to have photo storage capability. I suppose you could store a photo on this one, but you can't view it. With the advent of podcasting I really love the ease with which I can subscribe, update and listen to broadcasts with this device. It doesn't come with an AC charger. You could charge it via a USB port on your computer, but you probably need to invest in the charger. You'll have to be careful to set Itunes to not erase the stuff on your mini while you are charging. Who wants another thing you have to plug into your USB port? You will likely also want a car charger and those are available from off brand suppliers. If you have a cassette deck in your car you will probably want a cassette adapter. It sounds great playing tunes through the car stereo via an adapter. If you don't have a cassette player you might consider the devices that broadcast the Ipod output to an FM frequency you can tune your car radio to. The cassette adapter is better if you have a cassette player. By the time you get all this stuff you might really consider dropping the extra $100 and getting the 5X capacity color version. If you have lots of CD's and can rip them to MP3's you can eventually fill this one up. I ripped my CD's at a high sampling frequency. If you do so you won't be able to get as many songs on your Ipod. I wanted the higher fidelity recordings so I cope with that.

  Weaknesses: need to pay extra for a wall charger and very pricey accessories

  Overall Evaluation: The first time I picked this silver mini Ipod, I felt in love with it. It was light and I could load tons of song into it. It is perfect while waiting for the plane, bus, and train. But I wasn't satisfied was the extra $$ to buy a wall charger. Overall, I am happy with my new gadget.

  Weaknesses: suddenly freezes, no radio, no voice recorder, expensive accessories

  Overall Evaluation: It's very nice but it's not worth the near $200.00 I spent on it. I don't know why but it sometimes freezes with out notice while playing. Although the ipods are the most popular mp3 brand out there I see now there are alternatives that could have been a better choice.

  Overall Evaluation: This is ths 2nd Ipod I bought fror the same model just a different color this time for my wife. As I have mentioned from my previous review of the same product, nothing beats the ipod for quality and craftmanship. The ease to use from regular listening to uploading songs is a breeze, thanks to the unique center controller and the Itunes that comes with it. The quality of sound reproduction is amazing that even MP3s not recorded on high quality files come out really nice and beautiful when it is played back from the ipod. The capacity for the price is a great value. Ipods might be the most expensive Mp3 players out there, but they sure are worth the money you will spend.

  Strengths: I wanted an all around ipod that was easy to use in the gym, and for the money this unit was perfect. The larger units are not really good for sports both because of size and vibrations.

  Weaknesses: To some the 4gb, but for $50 more you can get the 6gb, 1000 songs suits me fine though!!

  Overall Evaluation: For the money this unit was clearly the way to go for me, I was thinking for the extra $50 to go for the 6gb but for me personally I saw no reason. Apple really perfected this unit nicely!!
