    Strengths: Great shape, works great!

Weaknesses: None that I know of!

    Duration of ownership:30 Days

Strengths: Genuine Sony Product - works 100% - taken 100s of pics and works great with my Sony HCR-11 for AVCHD and MPEG2

    Weaknesses: none

Overall Evaluation: Don't fall for fake Sony cards. There are lots of these fakes on ebay; sometimes hard to detect. My pics and videos are worth the extra $50 for the genuine product.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: large storage capacity, fast write speeds

Weaknesses: expensive compared to 4 GB and smaller capacity memory sticks

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo for use with my PSP and overall I am very pleased with it. It gives me more than enough space to store my save data, downloadable games and demos, video, and music. I went with 8 GB so I could keep a decent amount of music on it so that my PSP could double as my portable music player. The card offers plenty of room and writes and reads fast. I do wish it had been slightly cheaper though. Unfortunately, a stick that is half the capacity is *less* than half the price. In the long run, it was worth it for me though.

    Duration of ownership:2 Weeks

Strengths: Now a size large enough to record high quality video

    Weaknesses: Still expensive

Overall Evaluation: This memory now allows me to record high quality 640 X 480 30fps video for 1 3/4 hrs on my digital camera. Other smaller sizes didn't allow enough time to capture video for me.

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Weeks

Strengths: Fast enough to record video

Weaknesses: Only can be used on a Sony product

Overall Evaluation: The memory stick is the new MARK2 version, meaning it is certified to work with the new video cameras that record to flash memory. The memory needs to be faster to record to it hence the MARK2 version. It's still useful for any normal Sony camera, maybe a bit quicker than the regular memory. There really isn't much to say about this memory, it does come with the adapter if you need it to be the full size memory stick. The price difference between the Mark2 version and regular is so small that there is not reason not to get this. The obvious downside is that Memory Stick only works with Sony, too bad they will never use SD like the rest of the world.

    Strengths: good, fast

Overall Evaluation: I bought first one month ago and I am looking for second one. It is pretty fast fella. It's very tempting. I will definitely recommend this card to my friends. Good quality, good money.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: fast transferhigh capacity

Weaknesses: price (unless you get a deal)

Overall Evaluation: Usually these cards are a bit on the expensive side, making the 4gb version more worthwhile, but I use this for my PSP and would like to have as much space on one card as possible for convenience sake. I wouldn't pay $80-$90 like most sites sell it for. If you have patience you can find deals (Got mine for $60 at Fry's after tax and shipping). Since it's a Mark 2, the card has a fast write speed, but I'm not sure the access time is very different from non Mark 2 cards I've used (ie for playing games), so maybe it's not worth the extra money to get a Mark 2 if you are only concerned about access time.

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Weeks

Strengths: Fast Write Speed of 32Mbps, Storage Size

Weaknesses: High price compared to other non-proprietary media cards.

Overall Evaluation: I purchased this card to use with my Sony HDR-SR11 camcorder. With the camcorder set at the highest quality setting of AVCHD 16M(FH), it holds about 1 hour of video. The write speed is faster then the older cards at 32Mbps minimum and 160Mbps maximum in parallel transfer. I copied a couple video clips from the internal hard drive to the card and it transfered in a few seconds. Note - To use the card in your camcorder, you first have to format it in the camcorder. - The package includes the memory card and Memory Stick Duo Adapter, but no case. This card has the "MARK2" logo on it, which signifies that it is suitable for high speed recordings required by AVCHD camcorders. It is the successor to the MSX-M8GS Pro Duo Card and was produced in a joint effort with SanDisk. Although it is labelled as 8GB it actually holds about 7.35GB of data. - For PSP or VAIO users, here are the notes that are enclosed in the package:> PSP - Can't be used with software version 2.8 or older. You will have to update to the latest software.> VAIO - Can be used with any VAIO launched after 2007. Can be used with models made at the end of 2005 thru 2006, if you update your VAIO.
