    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:2 Years

    Strengths: Many wonderful features.

Weaknesses: Firmware Version 1.2 limits recording time when using a high speed 2 gb sd. If you have 1.1, do not upgrade!

Overall Evaluation: I made a big mistake of updating my firmware. Before the update, I had over an hour of recording time at the highest quality. Other than that, it is a great camera.

    Overall Rating: 1 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:6 Months

Strengths: Good pictures with bright light.

Weaknesses: Like other rater said, this camera has very weak flash. And no battery power left after low battery message.

Overall Evaluation: This camera is trying to destroy Nikon's legacy. I should read Consumer Reports magazine's rating. The flash is very weak. I tried to take pictures with a slaved flash light to enhance the light condition like I took picture with old film camera, but the way did not work. I do know how many the fration of second of shutter speed this camera gives for flash. I tried every features to improve the pictures with dark light. This camera is trying to destroy Nikon's legacy.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Days

    Strengths: Small, light, 7.2mp, viewfinder

Weaknesses: Can not plug power cord directly into camera to charge/and or use camera. Not the best at keeping accurate colors with indoor lighting.

Overall Evaluation: I am pleased with how the menu is set up. Easy to navigate and use. I have not taken any real pictures yet but really struggled to find a combination of settings to allow accurate colors when taking photos indoors at normal light, not just at low light. Need to get more experience with camera to find it's other quirks and positives.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Great high resolution - user interface is easy - nice low light images

Weaknesses: I wish it was a little thinner. I just saw that Nikon released some thiner point & click with high mp...Screen could be bigger but it works well

Overall Evaluation: This camera takes great pictures. I have been a cannon person for a long time and took a chance on this. I've been very happy so far with the first 1000 photos I have taken. I would highly sugget this camrea for any user who is looking to get into the digital market with a camera that has high mega-pixles.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:2 Months

Strengths: Easy to use.Manual explains instructions reasonably well. The d-lighting feature works great.

Weaknesses: Although long battery life - No warning when battery dies, the camera just shuts off.Red Eye is bad. Software can improve on the computer.

Overall Evaluation: I wanted a camera that would allow editing and larger prints. I researched and value wise this is the best. I download my pictures to the computer from a card slot on my printer and the software program does not recognize it. This isn't really a problem because I have my own software editing program. If I need to use the software Nikon provides I just import the picture to that program. I am very happy with this camera.

    Duration of ownership:30 Days

Strengths: good photos, not that slow as tolled

Weaknesses: easy to use but works like a bigger camera

Overall Evaluation: just try it! you can make long videos, it is really nice to use, small but not that much that you can't see what you are doing. I've read some reviews of other cameras and looks like the biggest disadvantage by this one is the battery. I'm using it till a month and I haven't got any problem you just must change regularly the rechargeable battery and the disadvantage is gone. it is really a good camera! I recommend it

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:3 Days

Strengths: Quick start up, excellent photo quality, light weight, easy to use for the beginner, plenty of options for the advanced photographer, easy user interface

Weaknesses: some of the options are buried in the menu options, wish it had more optical zoom capability

Overall Evaluation: This is my second digital camera (my first was the Sony DSC-P10). I like this one much better. From power-on-to-first-photo is about 4 seconds, making you ready to catch any photo on the fly. The time between shots (when using the flash) are also very quick (1-2 seconds). The camera fits in your hand very nicely. It is small enough and light enough to stick just about anywhere. The battery charges in less than two hours. The view finder is a bit 'noisy', but don't let that fool you, the picture quality of the shots are very good. The camera only has 3x optical and 4x digital zoom. This isn't bad for most candid shots, but for outdoors stuff and other events, a bit more would be nice. The price I paid, $310 (thank you BuyDig.com) is an outstanding deal.I recommend this camera to anyone.

Weaknesses: not enough charge left in battery after low battery indicator appears.

I pics in sunset mode,dawn/dusk, macro, sports mode. Macro mode is excellent and gives wonderful DOF. would Recommend it to beginner to amatuer level person.

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:5 Days

Strengths: Amazing picture quality, camera is perfect for point & shoot.

Weaknesses: Hard to take night pictures without the flash and just using available lighting.

Overall Evaluation: Pictures at highest quality can be zoomed in to find tiny details not normaly seen. Movie mode is awesome and great quality which can be seen on a big tv and not guess it came from a camera that was meant for pictures. This camera has an enourmous amount of features, which I have yet to try all of them yet. But I am enjoying just using the camera with the amount of features I know how to use. I would recommend this camera to anybody looking for a high quality point and shoot camera. I coupled mine with a 1GB SD card and I have been taking pictures and video without any worries.
