Overall Rating: 4 Star Review
Duration of ownership:1 Years
Strengths: The GPS is much better than the piece of crap that comes built into my Chevy.
Weaknesses: Some times if you are located close to a POI and ask for the generic (i.e., shopping center, theatre, restaurant) it will give you answers far away but not the one that is in the next block.
Overall Evaluation: If you get MSN Direct for free for one year then you have paid what it's worth. My service expired this past December and during the year I was able to get partial service in Portland, Oregon. No gas prices, movies, traffic - just weather. I would have thought Seattle was computer literate enough to have MSN service but it wouldn't work there. Same for San Francisco, L.A., Sacramento and Phoenix. I called the support number and got some fellow from India that spoke broken English. He wasn't any help and the error message was probably written by the same person who writes the MS operating system messages. All together I would say that the service is totally useless but as long as they are giving it away, what the heck. Just don't renew.
