  Strengths: None, I've yet to be able to use the program successfully

  Weaknesses: Too numerous to mention

  Overall Evaluation: This program comes bundled with other apps. I never could get it to work correctly, as the main interface would freeze at various stages, also freezing my computer with it. It wasn't a matter of system resources (the computer has more than enough). The kind people at the Roxio support forum worked diligently with me, but to no avail. Roxio online support via chat was useless and the person with whom I chatted was rude. Roxio should make a trial available. It would have been nice to know beforehand that this product would not work with my computer before shelling out for it.

  Weaknesses: Backup program and the registering process.

  Overall Evaluation: I used to be a loyal fan of Roxio. My problems started with version 7.0. I did a complete sytem re-install and the program insisted on me registering it to get any updates. When I went to register it said this was already registered. I tried support but Roxio has the crappiest support on the planet. Like a fool I went out and bought the upgrade to 7.5. Same problem with the registering process. I can log in to the website and it shows I registered the product, but it won't give me any updates, although the little nag screen keeps telling me I have updates. Again, the support department sucks.

  Overall Evaluation: I installed 7.5 and my cd drivers stopped working. I have been dealing with both the "live chat" and Roxio's tech line for two weeks to try to remedy this. I called both Dell (computer mfg) and Microsoft who both said that it was a Roxio software problem. Roxio tech support seems to be blowing me off assuring me that someone from their "tier 2" support will get in touch with me. Heed my advice...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!

  Overall Evaluation: I am very disapointed with my new Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5. The software is excessively slow loading and shutting down. Often I need to use the Ctr/Alt/Delete keys to shut down. Especially frustrating is the software freezes when in the middle of the Capture function during video transfer. Have worked with the Techs but problem persists. Using Plextor PX-716A Drive and ConvertX PX-M402U which work great. My PC has MS XP, 512 MB RAM and a 1.3GB clock. More than required to run this software. Roxio needs a serious software upgrade to resolve this issue.

  Strengths: Fast video rendering. Software is stable.

  Weaknesses: Manual scene selection. No big deal.

  Overall Evaluation: Roxio 7.5 demonstrated its awesome performance especially during the rendering process and burning. This is the area where most video editing software fails miserably. It took about an hour for a 30 minute video complete with menu,transitions, title overlays and special effects to make.I would highly recommend this product. You get more for your money.

  Overall Evaluation: This product has so many things you can do...I have lots of pictures and music and so far Creator 7.5 has made it easy to use. It's a very creative and easy software. I recommend it for those who are looking for something to help organize your stuff. :)

  Strengths: Good Manual.

  Weaknesses: DVD slideshow/movie creation portion of product is terrible. Brand new interface. Very hard to work with and after you read manual and try to use it doesn work. This portion is pure junk.

  Overall Evaluation: I have been Roxio customer long time. Before this product I was very happy with Roxio Easy Cd Creator 6.0. Unfortunately for me, I wasted $99 buying this product. The DVD creating software in 6.0 was very easy to use and it worked!! The new interface under 7.5 is horrible. Do not buy it; look elsewhere. This company was a US company that sold out to a Canadian company. The result is this mismash of a product. If you do mostly DVD slide-show/movie type original productions - save, save, your money as you will end up buying something else.

  Strengths: Includes Divx to DVD which not even Nero has yet!! AWESOME!! Ease of use to burn CDs and DVDs. Does not use a lot of RAM when using this application.

  Weaknesses: Very picky on which DVD disks you use to burn.

  Overall Evaluation: Divx to DVD can't get any easier than this. Compressing them to about 2GB DVD with .VOB the quality still stands great. With this program and using DVD Shrink 3.2 to put two DVD movies into one disks works great. It uses about 45-50MB of your RAM when using this application while Nero uses over 100MB of RAM - which lags your system if you're using 256MB or 512MB. I'd say....this is the only product that Roxio ever came out to be great.

  Overall Evaluation: It does everything I ask it do. From CD/DVD copying to editing my photos and video. It's amazing what all of this product can do. The learning curve is so small that my wife and kids use it almost on a daily basis.

  Weaknesses: Very poor support

  Overall Evaluation: If the product is bundled with other products like DVD burners, i.e.. Plextor the capabilities are severely restricted and the product CANNOT be upgraded. You must buy the full version. The support number in Canada for Roxio support is totally useless. I bought the upgrade then had to go thru two people at Roxio support to learn you couldn't upgrade even thoough the Roxio site says you can. BAD experience.
