Overall Rating: 5 Star Review
Duration of ownership:80 Days
Strengths: Excellent photo library management and basic photo development tools. Doesn't modify originals. Supports 64-bit, takes advantage of multiple cores. Supports RAW very well.
Weaknesses: Doesn't allow a catalog file to be on a file share (photos can be on a share)
Overall Evaluation: I've been using it for awhile as a trial, and got totally hooked on it. Library management is excellent - flags, keywords, metadata, colors, all searchable. Photo editing is intuitive for the most part (you wouldn't need a book unlike with Photoshop).

Overall Rating: 5 Star Review
Duration of ownership:3 Weeks
Strengths: Organizing photos, converting RAW files, many photo enhancement capabilities (but no layers), easier to learn than Photoshop.
Weaknesses: Hard to get used to after Adobe bridge, but will be worth it.
Overall Evaluation: Adobe Lightroom is a very capable image organizer and RAW converter. I am pretty new with it, but many professionals I know use it in place Photoshop for many tasks. It is also a lot easier to learn than Photoshop. Many users won't need anything more. For me, it will replace Adobe Bridge and many steps I used to do in Photoshop. Licensing is nice also in that you can install it on two computers and use both, just not simultaneously. Price Grabber is a great way to find the best prices on it.
