    Strengths: Awesome read speed

    Weaknesses: Poor write speed

    Overall Evaluation: At first I was really impressed with the speed improvement of this drive over the 7200 RPM laptop drive I was using.However the more I used it, the more I started noticing these long periods of time where my computer would seem to freeze. The more I used my computer normally, the worse the stuttering got. I finally got on the OCZ web site and found out that many people were having the same problem. I tried a few tweaks that were listed and none of them have helped. I had to disable my swap file to get the system to even be usable.I'm gettin no where near what OCZ has listed for the transfer rates. My write speed must be abysmal. The system will hang for 3-10 seconds if you try to do any multitasking. Read speed is between 25-90MB/s.Apparently the problem is a combination of running the drive on an "old" chipset (Dell D820, 1 year old), and the nature of how this drive works.What's worse is that OCZ is telling everyone that if their not happy, they should have done their research before buying. Thanks! This will be the last OCZ product I buy.
