    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Thermal printer, independence from pc (pics can be previewed on a tv w/ a remote), relatively fast, slightly cheaper than some inkjet printers.

    Weaknesses: Limited to 4x6 prints.

Overall Evaluation: I've had this printer now a few days & would recommend it if you're looking for a portable, well-built, versatile photo printer. It reads a variety of memory cards (SD, CF, xD M & H, MSP), & can be hooked up to a tv to preview the pictures. Of course, it can also be hooked up to a pc. Compared to an Epson PictureMate & a Canon Selphy DS810, this is far, far superior to the Epson (which doesn't really say much since that's a POS) & better than the Canon. It is faster, cheaper to operate, more versatile, and more aesthetically pleasing than both. I can't vouch for durability yet, but I suspect it will outlast those models as well.

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:6 Months

Strengths: This printer is very durable and easy to use with fairly reasonable printing speed and high quality prints.

Weaknesses: its ink is a little costly averaging about 30 cents per print

Overall Evaluation: This printer is very easy to use. Specifically two usb ports make things very easy. I can hook it up to a computer and a camera at the same time. The quality of prints is pretty decent In addition it's very durable, so far I've carried it to many places for instant photo printing and it never gives me any problem. It also has some editing options which means I can do some editing without help of a computer.

    Overall Rating: 5 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:1 Days

Strengths: Easy operation from either the TV, camara, memory card or computer. No more going to the store to print your photos. Paper and ribbon in one package.

Weaknesses: Size limitation of 4x6 max. Cost a little more than printing at the store. My average cost - 27 cent per print, but the convenience is worth it.

Overall Evaluation: Received my printer today and have already used a pack of paper printing pictures of the new grandbaby. Very easy to use, with multiple ways of printing - from TV, directly from camara, from memory card or from computer. This far out weighs the cost of the paper and ribbon. By the time I drive to the store, wait for my turn at the kiosh, then wait for the 1 hour photo lab to print my photos, I find that the 10 cent difference in price is well worth it. At the Kodak kiosh you can print photos instantly but they cost 28 cent each (so it actually cost more). Plus, I can take my printer with me and make photos on the spot!!! Wal-mart can't do that!!! Paper and ribbon come together in one box so you know you have everything. By shopping around you can get the best price on paper, I bought the 120 pack for $32.99 no shipping and no tax!!! Super deal and it arrived in 3 days. I would recommend this printer for all the new parents, grandparents and anyone else looking to print their photos at home. I just wish it could print 8x10, but then again how many times am I going to want to print that size!!!! It is just the perfect printer for me. Love it.

    Duration of ownership:15 Days

Strengths: different card slots, photo quality, easy to use, tv hook up

Weaknesses: prints only small size, i so wish it prints up to at least 5x6

Overall Evaluation: I would not take much of your time but i will tell you that it's a good product. The picture print quality is really good and it is easy to use and small. I love it and i know you all will except for the fact that it only prints very small sizes. I don't care about the cost of ink and paper because the picture print quality is so worth it

    Overall Rating: 4 Star Review

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Thermal Dye-Sub Printing (no dots, colors don't fade)Waterproof picturesQuicker prints (approx 1 min/print)Much improved over the FP30

Weaknesses: Blacks still not very sharp

Overall Evaluation: I've printed about 50 prints off this printer so far and have been very pleased. Easy to use right out of the box. For those of you who don't know, each print is actually a post card (the back of the photo has the dividing line and a little box for the stamp) and since each print is waterproof, even better to mail! I tend not to use the TV functions as much since I use the pictbridge function directly from the camera and if needed, print from the computer after cropping and retouching. Nonetheless, I tried the TV features and they are a breeze to use and actually work pretty well. This model improved vastly in speed of print over the DPP-FP30 photo printer. It also has different memory card slots which allow you to use many types of cameras (incase your camera doesn't have pictbridge capabilities). Being small, sleek and sony, I highly recommend it. Prints seem to be costlier than most printers but I figure this: the prints are waterproof, dye-sub printing has no dots and supposedly, the colors last as long as a regular photo, and less to worry about when purchasing supplies (printer ink and paper all in one package... no need to buy the ink and paper separateley. With the other printers, if you print pictures with a lot of one color you run out of that color quickly and then have to toss the ink cart away because it's out of 1 color. )
