  Overall Evaluation: It worked fine for just over the 90 day warranty. Then the battery would no longer hold a charge. I tried calling the customer service number listed on their web site repeatedly, but was never able to get to a customer service rep. I was on hold for over 30 minutes several times. Finally, I tried to e-mail them, mostly wanting to find out if the battery was replacable. After waiting for 2 weeks for a reply, they finally came back to me and indicated that the only way to get an answer was to call the customer service number. I tried that again, with the same results. Any product can have a problem, but a company that won't answer a simple question, or even try to address a product defect should be avoided.

  Overall Evaluation: I had previously purchased a Microtek MF-202 128MB MP3 player and loved it so much that I came back to try the 20 gig version. The MH-210 20 gig MP3 player has features above and beyond what the iPod has at a price substantially lower than an iPod. I love the ability to use the FM tuner while I put the MH-210 in the cupholder on the treadmill at the gym and then tune into the radio station that the TVs mounted above are set to. I have the space to hold every single MP3 that I own without having to switch back and forth like with my 128MB flash player and its very good looking. People ask me all the time where I got it as they love the stylish look of it. 9/10 Product.

  Overall Evaluation: this mp3 player was NOT worth getting. its weaknesses greatly outwieghed its strengths. the audio quality was good, but you could only have one playlist. now, i dont know if i was missing something, but in order to listen to a song, it had to be on the playlist. there couldnt be more than 100 songs on the playlist which was a problem for me. i dont understand why they give you 20 gigs of space, but allow you to only have one playlist that u can only have 100 songs on.also i was messing around with the videos for a long time, and i still couldnt get it to work decently.also the buttons on mine felt like they would break off any second. if i were you i would NOT buy this. buy an ipod instead, or an iriver, or something that you know will work well. its a good thing i could return mine, otherwise i would've been really mad.

  Strengths: Lower Cost than an Ipod. Cool colorchanging led light on the front.

  Weaknesses: Absolutely NO automatic playlist abilities like the iPod.Tuner is very weak.Navigation is very awkward, and slow to change screens.Software does not work.File transfer for big files errors out.

  Overall Evaluation: I had this mp3 player for about a half an hour before I realized how terrible it was. You can have ONE playlist, which you must do manually, it does not play all songs that you put onto the thing, and the video quality is sub-par at best.Take advantage of the 30-day Moneyback Guarentee.Just get an iPod instead.

  Overall Evaluation: Pros: 1.Good recorder,voice recorder. 2.Size 3.Music quality is decent Cons: Now for what I was dissapointed in. 1. After installing software, would start a transfer. Any transfers over a couple minutes in length would end up turning my player on in the middle of the transfer and corrupting whatever file it was currently transfering making it undeletable. Making it only possible to transfer maybe one or two albums at a time. You would then have to format the drive just to get the garbled corrupted files off and try again. Transfer a file too big and bam, there it goes again. Very very fustrating. 2. Video screen is very small. The video is decent but lags just a bit trying to put out the video and small texts and moving things are very hard to see, or are not clear at all. 3. The image viewer is horrible. It seemed like any resolution above 400x600 had terrible distortions. Faces and colors would be messed up and any kind of date that is on your pictures in the bottom right corner is unreadable. Since most digital cameras have resolutions of over a thousand, this feature was of no worth unless you have a very old camera that has horrible resolution which in this case you shouldn't even be taking pictures. 4. Fm tuner. I was in my basement when I first tried it. Thinking I just had bad reception from being down there I went up stair and outside to try it. Very, very distorted. Ocassionally you could sit in just a perfect spot and hear good clear music. But walking and listening is not gonna work with this product. 5. Did not have genre,artist,etc. feature that would allow you to seperate all your music. 6. Navigating through through all the features. In conclusion, I was not happy with this product at all. The price is great, but you obviously get what you pay for, and this product is not worth taking a second glance at. Do not waste your money with this product. If you want everything this product has, then get the new ipod. My brother has this and when I saw it I wanted to get something along the lines of this and I settled for this which was a bad mistake. Thankfully they have a 30 day money back guarantee that I used. I returned it after only five days of use and it took them almost two weeks to credit me back. You also don't get your shipping reimbursted so this was a 30 dollar mistake for me. Please learn from my mistake.

  Overall Evaluation: it broke within the DAY that i got it in... it was horrible and i didnt buy a replacement plan so i guess im screwed!! it was a really good product other than the fact that it breaks and if its broken... what good does that do? too expensive to break right away

  Overall Evaluation: Bought this player as a graduation gift for my daughter. She wanted an iPod, but they are much more expensive. Also, this product has a color screen and plays videos and pictures. The key for me was the price. I looked on-line at some other players, but this was the least expensive player out there with 20 GB of storage. I was a little worried about her liking the color (black versus white for the iPod), but she liked it and says that the size is very small which makes the product easy to carry around and use. She hasn't asked for any accessories so I assume the unit came with everything she needed. Thanks to PriceGrabber for helping me find the product I needed at the right (lowest) price. Thanks to Microtek for offering an MP3 player that I could afford to get for my daughter for her graduation.

  Overall Evaluation: Purchased this player about 2 weeks ago. The price was incredible for a 20G player. Also has video capability with a color screen and built-in FM tuner. I currently own a 20G iPod, but wanted another player as a back-up and wanted a player that could play other file formats. Also, I liked the video feature and color screen. Out of the box, the player is pretty nice. Its compact and small (Microtek claims it is one of the smallets MP3 players on the market and it looks and feels that way), especially when I compare it to my iPod. It comes with a lot of the goodies that other players do (headphones, charger, carrying case, usb cable, etc.) Had to get used to the light in the middle of the control pad, but it actually is useful when I am using the player in a dark area (like in my car at night). The only problem I have is that as an MP3 player, it's doesn't have as many features as my iPod (shuffle, random play, etc.) Maybe there was a trade-off with all the other video functions built-in. Documentation is fine. The player set up pretty easily. I haven't had a chance to go through all of the functions that the player claims to have. However, so far, it does what it claims to. Loaded some images onto the unit. The screen is small, but I can see the images pretty clearly. The color screen is a big plus (especially when you work with the equalizer settings on the player and again, at night when there isn't much light around). Haven't tried to load video yet, so I will try to update when I do. I also use the player as another portable hard drive which is pretty convenient. Haven't used the FM tuner much, but it seems to work fine when I do. Overall the player is an extremely good value for everything it does do and at the price they're selling it for. I haven't had any problems with it so far.
