    Strengths: Quick response. 95%+ accuracy when properly trained.

    Weaknesses: Sometimes mistakes dictation for commands. DOES NOT WORK WITH MS OFFICE 2003!

    Overall Evaluation: I've used this product for over a year to produce my patient notes. I like it because it is very accurate and the accuracy increases with use. IBM's tech support was very good but they have apparantly sold that to Scansoft. That leaves much to be desired. This product is not compatible with Office 2003 or any of its components. Scansoft did not see fit to test it with the new office products. They will charge you $9.95 to tell you that. And, they refuse to tell you that on their website! They have no plans for a patch. Apparantly, ViaVoice macros are incompatable with Office 2003. If you're going to use this with other Microsoft software it is a very, very good choice. But, if you plan to upgrade in the future,make sure you ask Scansoft first.
