Both are available now and cost $35.
Today we're also very excited to announce two beautiful, new Chromecast products. First, the new Chromecast. The integrated HDMI cable makes it easy for you to take it with you on the go. We now support 2.4 and 5 gigahertz dual band as well as 802.11ac to take advantage of the latest home networking technologies. So in one screen I can see what's trending on YouTube today or what episodes are on Hulu, the latest movie rentals from Google Play movies or what's livestreaming now on sports on watch ESPN. So you'll see XFiles returns TV shows and movies. Let's go ahead and pick the TV show and here it will tell you all the places that you can watch it on Chromecast. Now since I have Netflix and Hulu already installed I can start watching it right away. By using content caching algorithms by predicting what you want to watch before you even hit play. So let's do a search for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. So what you'll find is that Netflix knows I already watched the first episode so they are smartly downloading a small segment of the next episode. SO by the time I scroll down and hit play, the video is already loaded. No more buffering. The second new Chromecast product today is Chromecast Audio. Chromecast audio is a small device that plugs into an existing home speaker and stream audio through Wifi using your favorite cast app. For now let's open up Google Play Music, which is the app I use for my daily listening. Now Chromecast Audio is automatically detected by Play Music so we just simply press the Cast button and we listen to my tunes. Just like Chromecast we're going to suppor the ability to mirror audio from your Android device or mirror audio from any Chrome tab on Windows, Mac or Chromebook. We're also proud to announce that Chromecast will support multi synchronization. This means I can play the same song across multiple speakers that have Chromecast Audio in them. Chromecast Audio will also be available starting today in 17 countries and we're going to price it in the US at just 35 dollars.
