Other new Wii developments include the Wii MotionPlus, an accessory for the remote, and Wii Sports Resort. In other news, Sony announced an 80-gigabyte version of the PlayStation coming in September.
  • NTT DoCoMo Tests Super 3G System Japanese telecom company NTT DoCoMo is developing Super 3G as a stepping stone technology to bridge the gap between today's HSDPA systems and future 4G cellular.
  • Xbox 360 News Dominates E3's First Day The big news from day one at E3 is a coup for Microsoft as the software giant announces a host of new services, games, and streaming movies for the Xbox 360.
  • iPhone 3G Launch Starts in Sydney and Tokyo As Thursday turned to Friday, shoppers in Sydney were among the first in the world to pick up the new phone during a midnight event at a local Optus store.
