First Look: IPod Mini
The new 4GB IPod Mini ($249) isn't the best value in MP3 players around; another $50 gets you the 15GB model of the larger IPod line. But the Mini has maximum fashion appeal with its petite, colorful design. You can buy an optional armband ($30), but our reviewer thought the included belt clip was handier and not as clunky to wear. News: A Small Smartphone
Group Sense's XPlore G18 is one of the tiniest Palm OS/cell phone/digital camera hybrids yet to emerge, weighing a mere 3.7 ounces, with a footprint of about 1.8 by 3.9 inches. The 176-by-240-pixel screen is far smaller than a conventional Palm screen, though. The phone, currently available in Hong Kong, is expected to debut in the U.S. later this year.
