Apple has begun selling refurbished iPhones from its online store. The phones can be purchased for $100 off the list price, which may be enough to convince some people that were concerned with the price to take the leap.

The iPhone certainly isn't the first product Apple has chosen to sell refurbished. It is currently offering refurbs on a variety of iPods, Apple TV, Cinema Displays, AirPorts, desktops and portable Macs, and even some Xserves.

While some people may be surprised Apple is offering refurbished iPhones, it may actually be more of a surprise if they didn't offer them considering their history in this practice.

As reported on iPhone Central, there is also a warranty available with the refurbished iPhone.
