We've just launched the beta version of our newly revamped PCWorld Downloads section with a variety of new features designed to make it simpler to get the files you want.

Search our massive download library, which includes more than 30,000 files, has been vastly simplied, but the redesign includes many other new features including:

  • Software charts are organized to help visitors easily find files that are gaining, or losing, popularity
  • Display of both editorial reviews and vendor file descriptions
  • A thumbs up/down rating structure.
  • Simplified tools for visitors to submit their own product reviews
  • New topic-specific sections that aggregate downloads, news, how-tos, and reviews about topics like antispyware and antivirus.
  • Editors' favorite files and collections

We want to know what you think of the new Downloads section and have set up a special location in our forums for your feedback. Let us know the good, the bad, and the ugly!
