When TLA Systems released an updated PCalc iPhone app last month, the company said an updated version would be released for Mac OS X as well. Thursday PCalc 3.3 was officially released.

Developer James Thomson said he took many of the improvements made for the iPhone app and incorporated them into the Mac version. The updated PCalc includes an enhanced RPN mode that works more like classic HP calculators, and smarter undo and redo support.

The interface has also changed giving it a more modern look, which was based on the iPhone style.

PCalc 3.3 costs US$19 and is available from the company's Web site.
