Apple has released Final Cut Server 1.1.1, an update to its media asset management and workflow automation system for film and video professionals. The update is available for download from Apple's Web site.

Final Cut Server 1.1.1 addresses installation issues, according to Apple. Changes have also been made to improve overall stability and general performance.

Apple reports that this update works in conjunction with a Pro Applications Update posted on Thursday that updated Apple Qmaster and Compressor. Those, combined with the recently released Mac OS X 10.5.5 update, resolve an issue in which clusters were not visible in Compressor and Batch Monitor, and Compressor services did not appear in the Apple Qmaster pane of System Preferences.
