Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs told Apple employees Wednesday that he will take a medical leave of absence until June.
Jobs recently disclosed that his visible weight loss was due to a hormone imbalance.
In a letter Wednesday, Jobs wrote that "during the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought".
Tim Cook will be responsible for Apple's day to day operations.
