NTT DoCoMo is developing Super 3G as a stepping stone technology to bridge the gap between today's HSDPA systems and future 4G cellular. The Japanese mobile operator recently brought its Super 3G test truck to an event in Japan and demonstrated the system by sending data at 25 megabits per second and receiving data at 100 megabits per second.
