Macworld Pulse was a special event on the last day of Macworld Expo, a program of interviews with and presentations from interesting people in the Mac world, including Adam Engst, Andy Ihnatko, John Gruber, Merlin Mann, Chris Pirillo, and developers Wil Shipley, Craig Hockenberry, and Rich Siegel.

Through the kindness of the good people at Macworld Expo, we're able to post and present these videos. We'll be posting them on Macworld's YouTube channel and also embedding them here on

This time: My 25-minute-long interview with Wil Shipley, Chief Monster at Delicious Monster, publishers of Delicious Library. Our topics: Designing great software, coming up with ideas for software and why the hard part is the implementation, not the idea. We also talk about Wil's widely-read manifesto for Apple's' App Store. We do not, sadly, discuss Battlestar Galactica.

Previously in this series, I interviewed The Iconfactory's Craig Hockenberry. We'll be posting more videos from Macworld Pulse in the coming days, so stay tuned.
