Apple planned to ship the 17-inch MacBook Pro by the end of January, but the notebook's release has been delayed. The company confirmed the delay for Macworld on Wednesday.
Apple introduced the 17-inch MacBook Pro at Macworld Expo in January. In addition to getting the same unibody enclosure shared by the rest of the company's notebooks, the 17-inch also picked up a unique long-lasting battery.
The notebook features a 1,920 x 1,200 LED-backlit display that comes with a glossy display. For an additional US$50, users can opt for an anti-glare option.
The 17-inch MacBook Pro sells for $2,799.
