Corel on Tuesday took the wraps off the latest version of version of its illustration software, Corel Painter 11.
According to Corel, Painter 11 includes 40 new and enhanced features including new pressure sensitive brushes, customizable media and enhanced drawing tools. Users can also create their own brushes and customize existing brushes.
Corel said the new brushes are 30 percent faster than in previous versions of Painter. The new version also includes new color management, improving color recognition when importing files from other applications.
Painter 11 will be available on February 25 as an electronic download for US$399. Upgrades for the downloadable version will cost $199. You can also purchase a boxed copy for $429 or $229 for the upgrade.
