DDH Software on Thursday announced the availability of HanDBase Plus for iPhone, an add-on package for its HanDBase database software. It costs US$15.

HanDBase is a small, fast, relational database manager that's been developed to run on desktops, PDAs and smartphones. It can be used for personal data tracking, such as shopping lists, music collections, recipes and mileage tracking, or for business use such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), inventory and time and billing.

HanDBase for iPhone is a separate $10 version of the software designed to run on the iPhone, but HanDBase Plus for iPhone is a bit different -- it combines HanDBase for Mac and a sync conduit that enables that software to exchange data with HanDBase for iPhone. This enables you to synchronize HanDBase information between your iPhone and your Mac.

This marks the release of a Mac version of this software -- DDH Software enabled Windows to iPhone syncing last year.

The release of HanDBase Plus for iPhone, DDH Software has also noted the release of a new version of its Mac desktop application, which adds more editing features and functionality.
