MacPractice on Monday announced MacPractice Endo, a new version of its medical practice management software specifically for endodontists.

MacPractice Endo features customizable clinical data entry forms for use in MacPractice EDR (Electronic Dental Record). Forms can be generated for referring dentists, and placeholders can be created for digital x-ray images. A narrative report can be automatically generated from the EDR form, and the narrative can also be merged into a letter template.

MacPractice Endo integrates with MacPractice DR -- used for digital radiography. The software supports SuniRay sensors and Planmeca digital sensors, panorama and cephalometric equipment. MacPractice also bridges to PC digital radiography systems.
