Devontechnologies has announced the availability of two new "Paperless Office" bundles that combine Devonthink Pro Office with Fujitsu's ScanSnap S300M or S1500M. They're available for US$419 and $569 respectively.

Devonthink Pro Office is described by its developer as a "smart information assistant." It stores documents, scanned papers, e-mails, notes, bookmarks and other content, providing search and classification tools, the ability to create RTF documents, use clip art from different applications, sharing data using an interactive Web interface and more.

The two "Paperless Office" bundles combine the software with one of two Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners. Fujitsu's ScanSnap line are designed specifically for scanning business documents. They feature duplex (two-sided) scanning, sheet feeding capabilities and conversion to PDF. The S300M can scan 8 double-sided pages per minute or 16 images per minute, and it can run off USB power if no AC is available. The S5100M can scan color pages at up to 20 pages per minute and comes equipped with a 50-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.

Devonthink 2.0 is current in public beta. It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
