The Best Tech Deals of the Week

We'll show you where to find the best prices on a Sony camcorder and HDTV, an Asus netbook, an Apple MacBook laptop, and an Apple iPod Nano.

Apple MacBook 13-Inch Laptop has the refurbished Apple MacBook 13.3-inch laptop selling for $600 after you apply coupon code "SAVENB". This laptop sports a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 13.3-inch 1280-by-800-pixel display, a DVD-RW drive, 1GB of memory, and a 120GB hard drive, and it has Mac OS X 10.4 preinstalled. Though the laptop is covered under a 90-day warranty, it's rated as "B" condition, meaning that it could have minor cosmetic damage or battery issues. This is a slightly older version of the current 13-inch MacBook, which we thought was a pretty good deal at $1000.

Asus Eee PC 1005HA 10-Inch Netbook

SuperBiiz is selling the Asus Eee PC 1005HA for $270 with free shipping after you apply coupon code "CRAZY30". That's about $120 lower than the price was when we reviewed the 1005HA in July. Its specs are fairly standard, including a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, a 10-inch widescreen 1024-by-600-pixel display, 1GB of memory, and a 160GB hard drive, but its high-quality keyboard and 8-hour battery life brought it to fourth place on our netbooks chart.

Apple iPod Nano 8GB 4th Generation (Refurbished)

Thanks to Apple's recent iPod update, a bunch of refurbished fourth-generation iPod Nanos are now on sale at The Apple Store in various colors for $99 with free shipping, $30 off the retail price. In our review of the 16GB iPod Nano, we liked the device's slick design and improved audio quality. It comes with a USB cable, a dock adapter, earphones, and a one-year Apple warranty.

Sony Bravia XBR 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV (Refurbished)

The Sony Style USA store has refurbished Sony Bravia HDL-40XBR6 40-inch HDTVs in stock for $1000, which is $1000 off the price of a new model and $300 under the normal refurbished price. The set displays at a full 1080p HD resolution, has four HDMI ports, and includes built-in apps for playing MP3s and viewing photos. Check out our product page for the Sony Bravia XBR to brush up on the details.

Sony Handycam HDR-XR200 1080p Hard-Drive Camcorder

Last up among this week's best tech deals is the Sony Handycam HDR-XR200 camcorder, which is selling at Abe's of Maine for $725 with free shipping, $275 under its retail price in February. This camera is a full 1080p HD video camcorder that also takes 4-megapixel still photos, records to a 120GB internal hard drive or to any Memory Stick media, and includes built-in GPS functionality that lets you organize your footage by location.
