As an avid iCal user, I sometimes find myself a little overwhelmed with my daily schedules. With all those days, weeks, and months jumbled together on the same page, it's like my entire life is rushing at me all at once? What if I just want to take things one day at a time? That, my friend, is where Second Gear Software's Today comes in.
Today syncs with iCal and offers a clean, simple interface displaying just what you need to do for today, without having to keep iCal open. This much-loved app has just received an upgrade in the form of version 2.0. It's now designed specifically for Snow Leopard--Tiger and Leopard users, you're out of luck--and runs as a native 64-bit application.
Version 2.0 also includes some interface tweaks and added functionality, letting you not only keep track of today's appointments, but also allowing you to peek at future dates. While this may make the app's name a bit misleading, it will no doubt prove useful to those who want to know what's going on tomorrow without having to fire up iCal.
Today 2.0 is available for $22, and current users can upgrade from 1.0 for $12.
