Junk Rock

Glasgow native James Houston created this video in 2008 for a contest seeking creative remixes of the song "Nude" from Radiohead's 2007 album In Rainbows. Houston took the lyrics "Big ideas: Don't get any" from the song, and, as Houston explains it on his YouTube post, "grouped together a collection of old redundant hardware, and placed them in a situation where they're trying their best to do something that they're not exactly designed to do, and not quite getting there."

On guitar is a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 8-bit personal home computer; an Epson LX-81 dot-matrix printer is on drums, while an HP ScanJet 3c scanner has the bass guitar. Assorted old hard drives handle the vocals and effects.

Naughty Copier

Dutch paper company Double A Paper must have thought, "If you can sell Calvin Klein jeans through suggestive advertising, why not printer paper?" The tagline for this commercial, haarscherp printen, translates to "sharp printing." Judging from the guy's reaction, I guess that must be some impressive paper.
