Dell Adamo XPS Laptop, $1200

The ultraslim Dell Adamo XPS laptop can be yours for $1200 at the Microsoft Store. Just enter the coupon code CLR-MSAFL-40%-PC at checkout to watch the price drop by $800.

When word of the Adamo XPS leaked last year, it generated a lot of buzz due to its 0.4-inch-thick frame--its thinness rivals that of the MacBook Air. What really makes this laptop stand out, though, is its distinctive design, which differs from the classic clamshell: The 13.4-inch LCD screen and built-in keyboard sit at unique angles when opened.

HP Pavilion p6330f Desktop Computer, $600

Although it doesn't take top honors, the HP Pavilion p6330f desktop computer holds the number three spot on our Top 10 Budget Desktop PCs chart. Office Depot has the system on sale, brand-new, for $600 after $70 instant savings.

The Pavilion p6330f is packed with a 2.93GHz Core i3-530 processor, 6GB of RAM, an impressive 1TB hard drive, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Keep in mind, however, that this isn't the best computer for gaming, and it lacks an HDMI port.

Kodak Zx1 HD Digital Camcorder, $80

If you like to shoot video outdoors but are concerned about ruining your tech gear, look for rugged products like the Kodak Zx1 pocket video camera. has the Zx1 on sale for $80 plus free shipping.

The Kodak Zx1, rated among the top pocket camcorders by the PCWorld Labs, shoots 720p high-def video at either 30 or 60 frames per second; it can also shoot 3-megapixel stills. It features both USB and HDMI-out ports, but lacks the flip-out USB connector found on its sibling, the Kodak Zi6. We especially like its durable, "weather-resistant" design--perfect for winter sports, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
