This time of the year again, where neighbors become enemies and try to one-up each other with Christmas light displays. And naturally, there's no better soundtrack to pick for a holiday lightshow than PSY’s "Gangham Style". Yes, you read right.

Kym Illman from Perth, Australia, is one guy who really goes the extra mile when assembling his lightshows, which he calls the "World’s Best Christmas Lights." This year, he picked Psy's "Gangnam Style" to team up his flashy display with.

The show features a variety of effects, from a singing face to an LED Christmas tree, shooting stars, and lights the line the house's eves. The whole thing uses 41,000 light bulbs and 2,000 light channels to control the set up. The whole thing took Kym about 200 hours to put together. Impressive!

You might think the whole thing runs up a massive electric bill. But as Kym points out on his YouTube channel, he uses LEDs and only about half of the lights are on at any given time, so it adds only about $10 per week to his bill.

I'm not going to mince words: This lightshow is amazing. Even better: Kym’s lightshows have so far raised $93,000 for community projects, which is an incredible feat in itself. Check out his YouTube to see videos of the house performing Carol of the Bells or Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies .
