Amateur chefs love to experiment with new recipes. What they don’t love is preparing all that food and having no one to share it with. A recently released iOS app called SupperKing promises to let adventurous home cooks share new meals—and the expense of all those ingredients—with other people.

The iPhone app lets you invite people over for dinner who are willing to pick up some of the expenses of the meal. The idea behind SupperKing, according to its developers, is that it lets you meet new people and try out recipes you otherwise might not be able to afford. (A recent update to the app also lets you schedule private events with people you already know.)

The SupperKing website launches next month, with an Android version of the app following soon after. You can get more details about SupperKing in the video above.
