The Galaxy S5 is one of the more noteworthy products to grab the spotlight at this year’s Mobile World Congress, and it’s the smartphone’s software features that have people talking. In this video, we’ll take a closer look at three noteworthy additions to the Galaxy S5.

Ultra Power Saving Mode: To preserve battery life, you can turn the 5.1-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen into a black-and-white display. This mode also disables most tasks, letting you essentially make texts and phone calls but little else.

Security features: Like the iPhone 5s, the Galaxy S5 now offers a fingerprint sensor for unlocking your phone. You can also authorize purchases with that sensor and unlock a new Private Mode that hides away pictures, videos, and apps you’d rather not let the world at large see.

S-Health: This health and fitness offering debuted with the Galaxy S4 last year, but it’s been enhanced for the S5. The biggest change? A heartrate monitor on the back of the phone just beneath the camera.
