Why you'd attempt to recreate the best game in the Zelda series with sandbox builder Minecraft, I couldn't say, but someone's done it anyway.
See for yourself in the following YouTube clip. It's practically LEGO Zelda.
According to the guy who posted the video, it's a complete to scale recreation of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, a game I played to death while feeling like it (thanks, mono!) back in the early 1990s.
The "overworld" map is reportedly a 512 x 512 x 104 monster that took the author "over 100 hours" to pull together. The author suggests it's a work in progress, noting the map "will be adjusted to better represent the game" as Minecraft's features are improved.
Future plans include adding teleportation "to link dungeons, caves, and building interiors."
What's next, Minecraft Ocarina of Time?
